Vintage Lava Lamp Gold Orange Red 1960S Leviton Switch
The cap on top is gold colored with no cracks or chips and the starlight silver base has a black plastic bottom with no chips or cracks. The base has a label inside that says to use a 40 w 125 v light bulb. The liquid insied lamp is gold and is clear. The lava si a orange/red color. When hte light is on it appears more orange. The eletcric cord is white and contains the turn on switch that has a small black roller to turn lamp on. The front and back of the turn on switch says leviton 3a-250v 6a-125v 3a-125v-1 und.
The toatl height when put together is 17 inches tall. The lava moves very slowly after it is plugged in and after all the lava rises to the top it stays there until the lava cools and then it goes bcak down to bottom. I never owned a lava lamp so i don't know how slow or fast the lava normally moves but each time it's plugged in the movement takes on different shapes.
The condition is veyr clean and undamaged. The only probelm i see is that the lava stays on top after being plugged in for more than a few hours and the lava moves very slowly. It looks beautiful plugged in and especially cool in the dark. Conisdering the age of the lamp it still looks great.
I will include the 40 watt light bulb inside that works now. Don't elt this one slip away.
