Vintage 1960S Lightolier Lytegem Reissue Desk Lamp Nib

Vintage 1960s Lightolier Lytegem Reissue Desk Lamp Nib

Only the orange/persimmon lamp is left. Offering the original lytegme model 8001 desk lamp which was designed for lightolier in 1965 by michael lax and is part of the permanent collection of the museum of modern art in new york city. Also recognized yb jay doblin as one of the 100 great product designs of the 20th century. We have one left-the gunmetal base with persimmon shade.
Lamp has a hi-low switch for two light levels, a telescoping lamp arm and rotating shade. Measures 2.5 square cube base, shade is about 3.5 in diameter, and the lamp arm telescopes to 15.

Comes with an extra bulb, which is a 12v/25w automotive bulb. The heavy cube base anchors the design, and can be wall mounted for multi-directional sconce lighting.

The lamp si new and unused in the original box, which is also really cool. This beautifully made and designed piece has that heavy, hefty feel of quality in the hand when you pick it up. Truly a superb piece we are lucky to have among us aagin for this short time! 1960s mod at its finest! After 7 days items will be relisted. We do the very best we can, but we are only human-please be kind! Feel free to write with questions, but please try not to wait until the last minute because we might not be able to get back to you in time!
