Vintage 1956 2 Boxer Dogs Ceramic Tv Lamp Eyes Light Up
Vintage 1956 2 boxer dogs ceramic tv lamp eyes light up. This ceramic tv lamp was manufactured and copyrighted by claes in 1956. These are 2 ceramic boxer dogs with an opening in the back for a lightbulb. When you turn on the switch, the light glows through the eye openings. The lamp stands 12 1/2 tall to hte top of the dog's ears.
It measures 9 1/2 across the widest part, and approximately 7 1/2 from front to back. The dogs are painted light beige and black, and have a glossy glaze. The condition is very good in the front where it counts, with no crazing.
On the back side, there is a hairline crack at the top of the opening, along with crazing of the glaze. The brown plastic light socket has a chip on the collar. It does not affect the use of the lamp in any way. The lamp is shown with a small 15 watt bulb. This bulb is not included in this sale, but it is fairly easy for you to find one at the store. The power cord measures 7 feet, 3 inches long. It is in excellent condition with no breaks or corrosion. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as gifts -u. And international government reuglations prohibit such behavior. I can hold the first package up to 7 days only. I pack carefully with bubble wrap and plenty of padding. It is calculated using the weight of the package adn the distance it has to travel. I usually offer a choice of priority (fastest), parcel post (good for heavy packages), or first class for packages under 13 ounces. All sales aer considered final.
