Pair Eames Era Mid Century Danish Stiffel Pole Lamps
Pair eames era mid century danish stiffel pole lamps. Here are a pair of mid century danish modern walnut and brass pole lamps with three adjustable swiveling shades. Manufactured by stiffel lighting and each switch plate is marked. Each lamp has three shades adn each has a three way switch to let you light one, two, or all three lights. Each light can be individually aimed for ambient and task lighting.
These are prefect on either side of a bed. The lamp shades remind me of space capsules and measure 10 inches long with a 4 1/2 inch diameter at the bottom. Each shade hsa a patern of holes to let light shine through. Each lamp comes apart into three sections, and will fit a 93 inch minimum ceiling height or a 101 inch maximum height.
(standard ceilings are eight feet, or 96 inches) the brass and walnut sections of the lamp are in excellent condition overall, but do show the expected use. Some paint wear on the nose cones of the shades. These lamps have served my family well for a couple generations but i just don't have room anymore. Excellent electrical condition with original cords which are over six efet long. You can use either standard incandescent or compact fluorescent light bulbs in this lamp.
Note, i only have five of six black baffles that fit in the bottom of the shades (see picture) however we never noticed since we always had one of each lights aimed at the wall, one toward the bed for reading, and oen toward the ceiling for ambient light. Carefully packed, these lamps weigh 14 pounds.
