This plaster lamp is in excellent condition with just a few very minor paint flakes. There are some surface imperfcetions on the brass base as well. This measures 19 to the top of the socket and about 5 1/2 in diameter at the base. It appears that the socket has been replaced but the cord appears to be original and is in good working condition. The stunning fiberglass shade measures 16 in diameter and 8 tall. It is in very good condition. The lamp with the shade measures 28 tall. This great piece is marked. From basic research i found there to be a debate over the acronym. Some claim it stands for. Federal artists initiative program and others claim it is.
