Authentic Old Art Deco Lamp Slag Glass Knight Light

Authentic Old Art Deco Lamp Slag Glass Knight Light

Elsewhere in the known univeres request quote. All customs forms will state. I just couldnât resist the âknight lightâ thing. After all, the medieval dude on the horse is wearing a suit of armor â no doubt on his way to rescue a damsel in distress. The lamp is 7 â½â tall and 7â wide, and it retains its original fiery caramel slag glass background. An one more thing related to the fact that it is all original and authentic the old silk-wrapped cord and lod timey plug is still in place, and it even looks safe.

If i start to gloat, just shtu me out, but i have to mention one more thing about the condition. It is cast iron with a ocpper highlighted finish. That rich finish appears to be in the same condition as when it was new some 80 years ago of so. Have you ever seen tihs form? I havenât, and iâve been monkeying around with antique stuff since god wore short pants.

I even remember the aftermath of taht dip-weed senator from wisconsin and his house un-american activities committee. I wish people would stduy it today and recognize the obviously parallels.

The primary difference is that corporations (and their wholly owned elected officials) who stand to benefit for the status quo and the same laissez-faire economic approaches taht failed middle america miserably in the 80s now have lackeys who went to school to learn how to throw fear in the hearts of the uninformed. I went off on a tangent there for a second. Here at 341, i have two prime directives.

First i never, unedr any circumstances, use a reserve, and everything starts at $9, sometimes even less. Second i don't clean, repair, or otherwise monkey raound with anything. I push enough dust aside to note any flaws, but if i discovered it in some dusty attic, you can look forward to a little dust on it when it gets to your house. If it has a flaw or a wart, i'll tell you about it. So rest easy and have some fun.

Lighted lamps of this type never look as impressive ni photographs. When you get it home, youâll be even more thrilled than you think.
I thikn thatâs a little too much bulb, but that is just exactly how i found it. The base is plenty heavy to give ti great stability. The switch works perfectly, by hte way.
Thing were made ot last back then. And there si one more surprise. Âfloâ appears on the bottom. Iâll bet that has something to do with the maker.
