Art Deco Brass Bridge Floor Lamp

Art Deco Brass Bridge Floor Lamp

Art deco brass bridge floor lamp. This art deco bridge lamp is all original with the exception of the frosted and clear glass shade, wriing and socket. It has been cleaned, rewired with new vintage cloth cord, and a new socket has been installed. We have been in the lamp restoration business for 25+ years and believe this to be one of the most quality made of its era. It is heavy, sturdy which makes for a well balanced bridge lamp. The bridge arm and baes are brass plated iron. The center stem hexagon tubing is of solid brass with an artistic embossed three pattern design.

This craftsmanship would never be found in a today modern bridge lamp. Noet there is a glass / onyx breaker above center on the lamp stem.

The iron base is of an intricately cut filigree pattern with corner pad feet. With age, the brass plating on the base has worn thin in some places. The lamp is 62 inches tall and the base is 10 inches wide. This bridge lamp deco arm is as striking deco in design, as you will see. Its added hammered look gives to it, an arst & crafts flair.
Note the swivel ball atop the shade socket which can easily be adjusted to angle toward whatever needs to be highlighted while working on or reading. The satin and clear glass. One thta is most shown on this bridge lamp in our photos, or the clear glass ribbed. Deco shade that we have taken a couple pictures of for you to view and decide. We hope our several full and close up photos show the superb quality and detail of this early 1900's bridge lamp.
This can be reattached by screwing it back on the top of the center stem pole.
