This is a rare find due to its size, age and beauty and is an original antique pair that dates back to the early to mid part of the 1900s circa 1950 and were american made with the metal foundry mark from mcdonald products and were made of the highest quality the market had to offer during the time period. They each stand almost three feet high and sit on beautifully rounded pedestals that have nicely figured wood grain as shown in the photos. These lamps have beautiful luminous shades that give it beautiful color in a nice satin gloss finish and we believe them to be original to the lamps. They were beautifully carved with nice curve and contour in its design features that were done during the modernist movement. They each have brass columns that go throughout the nicely carved design work of the lamps and each side is nicely turned. Each lamp is finished on all of its sides so they can be placed anywhere in a room with a switch at the base to turn them on or off.
