Antique 19thc french porcelain & bronze candelabra nr. Click to view image album. As you look at my close up photographs of the four finely detailed, hand painted vignettes, as well as the hand painted sides of this antique 19th century bronze & porcelain candelabra, you would expect it to be signed sevres. Sometime in the mid-20th century a past owner had this candelabra convertde to electricity. They did a very ogod job, and the candle sleeves are made from wax.
The base of this candelabra measures 5 x 6.5 and the height to the top of the center finial is 18 1/4 inches. The candle sleeves aer a little taller than that. This circa 1850s, bronze and porcelain, converted candelabra is in perfect condition, and there are no repairs. I live in rhode island and travel between southern new hampshire and eastern maryland almots every week.
